Career Highlights

Welcome to my profile page! I am Dr. Muhammad Ahmad, originally from Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan, where I completed my early education before pursuing a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Swedish College of Engineering & Technology. In 2017, I earned my MSc and subsequently completed my Ph.D. at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), focusing on hybrid circuit breakers for VSC-HVDC transmission lines.

SJTU, a globally acclaimed institution, ranks among the top 50 universities worldwide by QS and THE ranking systems. During my academic journey, I authored impactful research papers with notable citations and contributions to the field. I have been privileged to present my work at international conferences and serve as a keynote speaker at national events. Notably, I participated in the prestigious IET-RPG conference in Beijing.

Currently, I am dedicated to advancing sustainable energy systems as a postdoctoral fellow at the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Sustainable Energy Systems (IRC-SES) at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
